2021 was one of the most productive years for the Tech Community. We introduced several new platforms, many additional features, a lot of great content and much more. Let’s look back at some of the highlights from last year.
New Tech Community
Back in February, we launched the new Tech Community with huge improvements in UX, search and filtering, notification options, security, more third-party integrations, tag-based categorization, new sections, and more cool features.
Software AG Groups
We also introduced a new space dedicated to community events - from international and local user groups to developer meetups, hackathons and more. Simply join the Groups you’re interested in at groups.softwareag.com and get notified about relevant events, attend for free or become a leader.
Software AG Open Source
open-source.softwareag.com is the place for Software AG Open Source projects. Repositories there are better organized, you can filter, search, or find additional projects that are not a direct part of our GitHub organization. All code is free to use and contributions are welcome!
Free trainings on Software AG’s learning portal
Since announcing in June that all self-paced training are for free, Software AG has developed and released 12,000 digital learning assets. Don’t forget to check out the newest releases and start earning your digital badges today. Check them out here https://knowledge.softwareag.com.
CloudStreams connectors section
The CloudStreams connectors now have their own separate section, where you can filter or bookmark them. Like before, connectors are available for free download.
Community activity
The community was more active and involved last year, shown by the latest numbers we have:
- 97% forum reply ratio (10% higher than in 2021)
- 20 hours ’ time to first response on the forum (reduced by 80% comparing to 2021)
- 244 new knowledge base articles and tutorials
60 new GitHub repositories
