Q1 2025 Cumulocity Product Launch - 30th Jan. 2025

Overview

Happy New Year! A lot has changed recently for us at Cumulocity, but one thing that has not changed is our commitment to providing you with the best possible IoT platform to connect devices at scale, manage and integrate data, and build digital services to improve operational performance.

Going forward we will conduct a quarterly Cumulocity Product Launch webinar, where we will present an update on the latest capabilities deployed within Cumulocity, review the current state of our product roadmap, and provide a forum for any feedback you have about the direction of the platform.

Attend

Our first webinar will be on January 30 2025, and you can register here.

What it is about?

In this webinar we will share information about:

  • Analytics management: A new open source OEE block that integrates directly with Streaming Analytics; enhancements to the Analytics Builder UX.
  • Data management: As a tenant administrator, easily migrate your measurement data to our new more-storage-efficient and performant time-series data model using the new migration UI; Learn about the Notifications API usability improvements making it easier for your development teams to streamline platform events and alerts to 3rd party applications.
  • Application enablement: Respond more quickly to issues with our improved alarm management capabilities including new filtering capabilities in alarm views, global time context support in the alarm list widget, and new hook services for customizing alarm views. Additionally, investigate your data more easily through improved data visualization capabilities provided by our redesigned data point table widget.
  • Microservice Hosting: Learn how to increase the security and performance of your microservices with the latest version of the Miroservice SDK.
  • Device management: Unified and improved UX of the Software, Firmware and Configuration repositories; Faster troubleshooting for LwM2M device connectivity issues through additional logging information. Reduce your device messages and costs by activating LwM2M log events only when needed.
  • thin-edge.io: Connect your thin-edge.io to multiple Cumulocity tenants; trigger a workflow on a device from a custom cloud operation; easily upload a file to the Cumulocity Event Attachment API through a new command; support for SmartREST 1.0 (to allow existing customers to make use of thin-edge.io).
