PUSH Connection monitoring status issue

Hi this is Luca.

From the device status the push arrow icon is grey:

We can ssh into the remote device, get configuration i.e a connection has been established to the remote device (an mqtt connection should be there as we send data using MQTT itself). for the connectio we use thin edge io.

What can we do to fix this?

I this a thin-edge device itself or is this a child device connected through thin-edge? Typically on the thin-edge device itself maintains an active MQTT connection to Cumulocity and so only the parent device will see an active connection status.

it’s the thind edge device itself!

Is it possible to also have the child device’s push connection be active when the parent device has it on active?

I think the only option to do so is to have a dedicated connection for that child device to Cumulocity. Per definition the child device is not connected to Cumulocity but the gateway/thin-edge is. Therfor only thin-edge have a push connection active indicator when it is subscribing to s/ds or using real-time to subscribe to operations.
