we noticed some discrepancies in the alarms seen in the application built using application builder, we were seeing some OUT ALARMS while not seeing the IN before, that is why we thought about trying to see the same alarms from Device management and we were surprised to find those missing alarms.
I hope that this is just a visualization issue for some reason since probably both alarms in device management or in the application come from the same APAMA and are stored in the same Database, is it a safe conclusion? and if it is just a visualization issue, what could be the root cause? some webhook is involved here?
we are careful that this issue is not affecting our analytics in anyway and is just affecting the visualization since at the end we count how much time is spent in zones based on those alarms (time difference between IN alarm and OUT alarm) so if any alarms are missing to APAMA the results would be wrong
I think this depends on what is meant with “seen in application built by application builder”. Are you using a custom widget? How are the alarms visualized?
Might be an issue with that plugin/visualization if you confirmed that the alarms are there in device management.
Btw. Application builder is deprecated and will be no longer supported.
